Product Manager & Designer

I am a Product Manager and Designer with six years of experience turning complex requirements into intuitive, scalable products, from AI-powered EdTech to large-scale federal systems. My approach begins with understanding the problem, then designing the solution that fits it.

My Approach

Product Management

I manage the full product lifecycle, from research and requirements through launch and iteration. I build roadmaps, translate user and business needs into actionable requirements, and work closely with engineers to clarify scope. I run sprint ceremonies and backlog grooming, define product analytics, and keep developers, designers, and business stakeholders aligned as projects progress.

Design Process

I start by understanding the problem, not the solution. I use research to scope the right problem, explore and validate approaches, gather feedback, and track outcomes after launch. The process varies by project, but the goal is always to understand what users need, build the right solution, and use what we learn to improve it.

Beacon

Led product across three workstreams for Beacon, Stride's AI-powered K-12 math tutoring platform: a redesigned educator landing page, a guardian dashboard developed from the ground up, and the expansion of assignments into ELA.

My Background

I am a Product Manager and Designer with six years of experience turning complex requirements into working systems, from migrating federal HR technology at IBM to building Beacon, an AI-powered K-12 tutoring platform at Stride. At IBM, I led requirements gathering, user story development, design, and user acceptance testing for federal HR systems, while holding a Public Trust Clearance and managing more than $2 million in enterprise functionality.
